One of the best parts of having a blog is being able to collaborate with so many talented artists.
This year I will be sharing more tips and advice from the hair stylist and make-up artists who make our beauty industry so amazing.
Karyna Di Nardo is a make-up artist at Hair by Adamo, and I asked her to share how she gets a perfect pout.
What you’ll need:
- lip liner
- cream or powder highlighter
Start off with a natural lip.
Line the lip, using the lip pencil.
Then fill in lip with the lip pencil.
To make your lips appear fuller, apply highlighter on your cupid’s bow just above the lip.
Apply your lipstick.
Prepping your lips.
I wanted to quickly add my own tip to this post.
I have very full (natural) lips and when they get chapped it’s super obvious. This usually happens more during the winter months.
What you will need:
- baking soda
- a soft tooth brush
- a wash cloth
- a moisturizing lip balm
Step 1: mix a small amount of baking soda with enough water to create a smooth paste.
Step 2: apply the scrub onto your lips or the toothbrush, then use a circular motion to firmly, but gently exfoliate your lips.
Step 3: use a damp wash cloth to remove the excess scrub.
Step 4: apply a moisturizing lip balm – to keep your pout looking healthy.
DON’T OVER EXFOLIATE!
The skin on your lips is delicate, so limit exfoliation to once a week.
