You create both classic and really dramatic haute couture looks, what do you like best as an artist?
I’m absolutely in love with classic beauty makeup, I have this desire to make every woman look like a star.
You do a lot of lessons – one on one and with groups. What is the most satisfying part about being an educator?
I experience great fulfillment in sharing my expertise with others who have a desire to learn. Being able to share my tips and tricks that I’ve acquired from my experience with those who really appreciate the art behind makeup brings me a feeling of joy I can’t even describe.
I’ve seen some of the editorial work you’ve done – I loved the Boho Girl photo shoot from SOME magazine. How collaborative is this process and how important is having good team dynamics it having a successful shoot?
There are many factors needed to make a great shoot. It takes like-minded people with passion, cooperation, who need to be fully present. All essential elements in which help a vision come to life.
It seems we are busier than ever these days. What are some simple tips to turn a day look into something that works for a night out?
Pick one feature to play up.
Keep it simple.
Throw on a classic red lip or play up the eyes by smudging a touch of darker eyeshadow or liner to the lower lash line for a sultry look.

What are three makeup items women should not be without?
If I had to pick only three? Oof that’s tough…
Mascara, concealer and lipgloss.
What is in your personal make-up bag?
For day to day makeup: eyebrow pencil, mascara, concealer (which I also use all over my face as a tinted moisturizer) an iridescent cream, lipstick and lip pencil.
You do a lot of weddings. To get good photos, how does wedding makeup differ from an everyday look?
Wedding makeup has to be clean & flawless. What works for me is that I assume that there will be no editing at all – which in some cases there is very minimal. So the makeup needs to be very well done.
What are some common mistakes women make when choosing and applying makeup?
People wearing mismatched foundation, weather its too dark or too light. Too strong of a contour, especially in the daytime there’s nothing more unflattering!
I love your Instagram page. I don’t think people realize how much work goes into it. What inspires the looks for your posts?
I get inspiration from so many things. But for my Instagram, I follow many makeup artists who all have different styles. I sometimes try and recreate a specific look that I come across but much of my inspiration comes from within.
#GirlBoss – what does that mean to you?
A strong, independent, no bullshit woman.
Since we are a fashion and beauty blog, would you mind answering a few personal questions?
No – not at all.
How would you describe your personal style?
Cool.
What is your favorite way to pamper yourself?
Getting my hair done, mani or pedi!
Finally pick three words that best describe you.
Grounded. Fearless. Unstoppable.
