The Christmas holidays are a special time of year. For many, I would hope, it means getting to spend time with family and friends.

On the opposite end of things – it also can be a little stressful. So many things to do – especially when it comes to thinking of gifts to buy for people.

Gift cards are often the quick and easy answer – you can cross out a lot of names on your list in very little time. But even though it’s easier said than done, I try hard to make my gifts personal.

When oNecklace reached out to me to do another collaboration – I thought the timing was perfect – because they have tons of one-of-a-kind gift options with their signature Name collection.

One of the perks of having my blog, is that I get the opportunity to collaborate with different artists and brands. Although if I’m being honest – the number of opportunities I turn down versus the ones I actually agree to, is about ten to one. I made a personal decision a while ago to do these things only if it felt right or made sense for my brand.

One fashion trend I’m a big fan of is stacking necklaces. I just love the look. And the more you have, the more combinations you can make.

So when I was deciding on what to choose, I thought of getting a gift for someone else, but sometimes it’s okay to think of yourself too.

Self-love is a good thing – it’s not being selfish – so don’t feel guilty. It took me a long time to realize that.

I just love the new addition to my collection.

I think jewelry is extra special, when it’s personalized. Style with meaning – it’s a perfect combination.

I didn’t choose my name but the word ‘libertà‘ it means freedom in Italian. It’s something we all want and it’s priceless.

The great thing is you can choose anything you want a first name, last name, a special word, a nickname – anything.

They have options for fonts, lettering/styles, material, clasps, chain style /length and clasps – there is literally something for everyone. They also have monograms, zodiac signs, bracelets, earring, rings – the list goes on and on.

One quick note – when you are choosing the length use a measuring tape and a piece of string – so that you can see exactly where the necklace will fall on your neck. The 14″ fits like a choker – so if you like something looser fitting go with the next size down.

P.S. I hope everyone takes time to disconnect from their phones and just enjoy each others company. It’s a great time to catch up with everyone, listen to stories and make new memories. It may sound a little corny but it is true.
