We are a week into a new year.

Traditionally, this is a time when people make or maybe even break New Year’s resolutions.

res·o·lu·tion
rezəˈlo͞oSH(ə)n/
noun
1. a firm decision to do or not to do something.

I don’t really believe in making resolutions – the definition itself seems a little too impersonal.

Start off the year with a clean slate.

I have been following Eden Sassoon for a while now on social media – and I drew inspiration from her for this philosophy. She is all about truth and self empowerment. Click here to check out her Instagram account. #YearofTheTRUTH

Make a promise to yourself.

Whether it is changing your eating habits, finding a new career, making or breaking ties, starting a new hobby or going to the gym. Dedicate the time it will take to reach your goal.

Just do it. You are worth it.

Plus you aren’t going to live forever, so a day without change is an other opportunity wasted.

The choice is yours.

Only you have that power to decide if your next chapter will be better than your last.
